Privacy Policy
Xenophon Custom ("we", "us") builds websites for small businesses from Orange County, California. This policy explains what we collect through this website and what we do with it.
What we collect
- What you type into the order form: your business name and type, address or service area, business contact details, hours, pricing, social media links, brand colors, your name and how you'd like us to contact you.
- Files you attach: logos, images and videos.
- Technical data: like any website, our host automatically receives standard request data (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to deliver and secure the site.
How we use it
- To build your free first draft and the final version of your website.
- To contact you about your website, using the method you gave us.
- To bill you for your subscription after you approve the final design.
- To keep the site secure, prevent spam, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We do not send marketing messages unless you ask for them.
Who processes it for us
- Netlify hosts this website and receives form submissions and file uploads.
- Google serves the site's font (Google Fonts), which means your browser contacts Google's servers, and provides our email (Gmail), where form notifications arrive.
- A payment processor handles billing once your subscription starts. We do not store card numbers.
How long we keep it
We keep your order details and files for as long as we're working on or hosting your website, and afterwards only as long as needed for our records, taxes or legal obligations. If you never move forward after your free draft, you can ask us to delete everything.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, you can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and you can't be treated differently for making these requests. We don't sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. To make a request, email xenophoncustom@gmail.com or call/text (559) 593-3894. We may need to confirm your identity first.
Do Not Track
This site doesn't track you across other websites, so browser "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals don't change anything here.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and we limit who can see your submissions. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, though, so please don't send passwords or payment details through the form.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or any other tracking. That's why you don't see a cookie banner. If we ever add tracking, we'll update this page and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Terms of Service
Free first draft
Filling out the order form gets you a free first draft of your website. There is no commitment and no charge for the draft. You can stop at any time before approving the final design.
Subscription
Your website goes live only after you approve the final design. At that point your subscription starts at $20 per month, billed monthly, and it renews automatically each month until you cancel. We'll confirm the price and billing details with you before the first charge.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time by emailing xenophoncustom@gmail.com or calling/texting (559) 593-3894. Cancelling stops all future charges. Your site stays live through the end of the period you've already paid for.
Your content
You keep ownership of the business information, logos, images and videos you send us. By sending them, you confirm you own them or have permission to use them, and you let us use them to build and host your website. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, such as prices, hours and licenses.
Our portfolio
We may link to your live website in the "Our Work" section of this site. If you'd rather we didn't, tell us and we'll remove it.
Limits
We work to keep your website online and accurate, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service, since hosting providers and the internet can go down. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we keep improving the site as we find issues.
